Inner City Angels is inspired by the belief that the arts play an integral role in our personal development and overall potential and that we all share in the responsibility of raising healthy and creative young people in this increasingly challenging world. Since 1969 we have been committed to the principle of equity of access of the arts for all children. We invest fundraising revenues in this cause, bringing affordable programs to under-resourced schools. We partner with Mariposa In The Schools and others to share resources and to build longer term story, poetry and music inspired visual arts and design programs in Toronto’s inner city and priority neighbourhood schools. Artists also visit schools in Vaughan, Markham, Halton and Peel.
